Short answer: yes, we remove mold in Delray Beach, about fifteen minutes north of our Boca Raton base up I-95 or Federal Highway. The inspection is free, the work is done under sealed containment, and most single-room jobs here land in the same estimated $1,500–$6,000 range as in Boca. These prices are estimates; we confirm yours after the inspection.
What we find in Delray Beach homes
Delray has two very different housing stocks, and they grow mold in different ways. East of I-95, around the Marina Historic District, Del-Ida Park and the streets off Swinton Avenue, many homes date from the 1920s to the 1950s: wood-frame cottages and early block houses with crawl spaces, plaster walls, added-on bathrooms and air conditioning retrofitted decades after they were built. Ductwork squeezed into small attics and old cast-iron drains are frequent culprits. West of the interstate, the large 55-plus communities such as Kings Point and Huntington Lakes are mostly condos and villas from the 1970s and 1980s, where the issues are shared walls, aging plumbing risers and air handlers in tight hall closets.
Seasonal residents and closed-up units
A big share of Delray's western condos sit empty for part of the year. When an owner flies north in May and sets the thermostat high or switches it off to save money, the unit's humidity climbs through the wettest months. By October the closets, upholstered furniture and the backs of dressers can be covered. We see this pattern every fall. The fix is cleaning and removal under containment, a check of the air handler and its drain, and a conversation about leaving the AC running at a sensible setting next summer. If you are not in town, a neighbor or your community's manager can let us in and we will send you photos and readings.
Working with Delray associations
Many Delray condo and villa communities require contractors to register with the office, show a certificate of insurance and keep to set working hours. We handle that paperwork before we arrive. When the water came from a neighbor's unit or a common pipe, we document where it entered so the association, the neighbor and your insurer can sort out who repairs what.
After storms near the Intracoastal
Homes along the Intracoastal and the barrier island catch the most wind-driven rain in hurricane season. Water that gets past roof tiles, window frames or sliding-door tracks often shows up as a ceiling stain or a damp baseboard days later. If you have had water in after a storm, a free inspection with moisture readings will tell you whether anything needs to come out before mold starts.

Delray Beach questions
Do you charge more to come to Delray Beach?
No. Delray is part of our regular area, so the inspection is free and pricing is the same as in Boca Raton.
Can you work in a 55-plus community while I am away?
Yes. With your permission and the association's, a manager or neighbor can give us access, and we send photos and readings at each stage so you can approve the work from wherever you are.
My older Delray cottage has a musty crawl space. Is that mold?
It may be. Crawl spaces under older wood-frame homes trap humidity, and the smell often comes up through floor gaps. We check the framing, the vents and any ductwork down there before recommending anything.
