What happens next
We call you back, ask where the problem is and how long it has been going on, and set a time to visit. At the inspection we take moisture readings, look for the source and leave you a written scope and price. Small jobs can sometimes be scheduled within days; larger ones depend on drying time and, in condos, on the association's approval.
Helpful details to mention
- Where you see or smell it, and whether there has been a leak, a storm or an AC problem recently.
- Whether it is a house, townhome or condo, and for condos, the building's rules on contractor hours and insurance certificates.
- If you are out of town, who can let us in. We can run the inspection with a neighbor or property manager and send you photos.
- Any insurance claim number, if you have already opened one.
