Short answer: we handle mold removal throughout Deerfield Beach, the first city south of Boca Raton across the Hillsboro Canal. We inspect for free, find the source, and remove the growth under containment. Deerfield is in Broward County rather than Palm Beach, which changes nothing about how we work or what it costs.

Three kinds of Deerfield Beach property

Oceanfront and Intracoastal condos. The towers along A1A and the Hillsboro Mile take the brunt of salt air and sideways rain. Window and sliding-door leaks are the classic source, along with air handlers that run hard all year in units with big glass walls facing the sun. Century Village and the other western condo communities. Century Village alone has thousands of units, mostly two- and three-story buildings from the late 1960s and 1970s, with original plumbing in many and plenty of owners who leave for the summer. Single-family block homes. Neighborhoods such as the Cove and the streets around Hillsboro Boulevard have many concrete block houses from the 1960s and 1970s, often with flat or low-slope roof sections, jalousie-era window openings and bathrooms that have been remodeled over older leaks.

The leaks we trace most often here

  • Sliding-glass-door tracks and window frames on ocean-facing units after a storm.
  • Galvanized or cast-iron supply and drain lines in older buildings, failing inside walls.
  • Air handler pans and condensate lines in hall closets of second-floor units, which drip into the unit below.
  • Low-slope roof sections over Florida rooms and additions on older houses.

Condo paperwork, handled

Deerfield's associations range from small self-managed buildings to large communities with their own maintenance staff. Either way we bring the insurance certificate, follow the building's rules for hours, elevators and debris, and write up where the water entered. When the source is in a common element or another owner's unit, that report is what lets the association and the insurers settle responsibility.

Before you open a wall yourself

If you can see a spot on drywall near the beach, it is tempting to cut it out and patch it. In a salt-air building, though, the moisture is often coming from a window or slider several feet away, and the patch just moves the mold. A free inspection with a moisture meter tells you where the wet area actually ends.

Deerfield Beach questions

Is Deerfield Beach really in your service area if it is in Broward County?

Yes. The county line is the Hillsboro Canal, a few minutes from Boca Raton, and we work on both sides of it every week.

Can you help with a leak that came from the unit above?

Yes. We remove the mold in your unit and document the moisture path, so your association and the upstairs owner's insurer can see where it came from.

Do oceanfront condos cost more to remediate?

Usually only in labor. Building rules on hours, protected elevators and longer carries to the truck add time, which shows up in the written price.
